The contact owns a 2014 Ford Focus. The contact stated that while his grandson was driving at various speeds and accelerating and decelerating, the vehicle hesitated and shuddered abnormally. The contact stated that the vehicle also lunged forward while braking. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer but was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact-??s grandson was informed that the clutch needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 92,000.
