Driving at 35 mph when engine quit without warning. Shifted into neutral and tried to restart without success. Fortunately was able to coast into a parking lot and push clear of drive. After 30 minutes while waiting for tow truck, it would restart. Had towed to dealership. Codes indicated multiple engine controller faults which the dealer said was caused by the wiring harness. A search of the net showed Ford had recalled 2013-2014 Focus ST models with 2.0 engine due to connectors not being properly crimped by the supplier. I took possession of this vehicle in December, 2013; right in the middle of the ST recall. Similar harness, same supplier??? No one has said.
Contacted Ford Customer Service to create a case. Ford agreed to "participate" in this repair which only amounted to $250 out of the $1500 total cost(my share wound up over $1300 with tax). An appeal to Ford brought no additional relief. Ford CS told the Service Mgr that they offered $250,what else does he want? How about a car that works each and every time without major repairs in the first 5-6 years?
This is my third and most likely last Focus and the 2018 F150 I just purchased is most likely my 7th and LAST Ford!!! What a piece of junk!! First it was 3 clutches and now a bad wiring harness and it only has 66700 miles on it!!

Car shuts off without any warning. I have to pull over on the side put it in park, and shut the key off. Then it will restart. However the POS will do it again without any warning. I lose all power when it shuts off. Power steering, brakes. This is going to cause an accident at some point. NEVER buying another Ford vehicle.
