In addition, the gear shifter was jerking when attempting to shift. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the clutch transmission control module needed to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred numerous time. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 14,908.
