Focus Titanium 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 84,506 miles

Dealership at Airport Ford Hamilton Canada is trying to make more profit and money off my issue with no support. The car is only at 136,000 km and covered by warranty and what they had offered is to trade it in with a new car and me having to carry over the loans of the new and old car and pay both. Rip off 101. This is absolutely ridiculous. Worst treatment ever received. Being a previous Ford employee myself, I will definitely never ever recommend anyone buying or dealing with Ford ever again.

Ford forced me to pick up the Focus 2014 at the dealership after a transmission breakdown last week with a near miss accident or else I would have to pay for the rental personally without fixing the issue leaving me on the road with a car that doesn't function with no further resolution. I called Ford Canada, they said they will not be able to do anything since my power train warranty is expired. So they have chosen to leave me without a car and in unsafe conditions rather than fix the problem.

CRC Regional Manager reads a standard form document to you,“Yes, we know there are noises coming from the transmission area. These chatter noises were necessary in order to get 40mpg for you. This is Normal and what you bought, so Ford recommends you adjust your driving habits. “

Then ESCALATE, DEMAND to speak with the CRC National Manager, they are totally different, he then reads the same standard form document to you,“Yes, we know there are noises coming from the transmission area. These chatter noises were necessary in order to get 40mpg for you. This is Normal and what you bought, so Ford recommends you adjust your driving habits. “

Call your local Ford Dealer Service Manager, he has been faxed this document by Ford to read to you. “Yes, Ford knows there are noises coming from the transmission area. These chatter noises were necessary in order to get 40mpg for you. This is Normal and what you bought, so Ford recommends you adjust your driving habits. “ Dealership says please don’t blame or hate us, we are only doing what Ford tells us to do, we are the good guys, but unfortunately we cannot and are not going to help you at ALL! No Replacements Focus’s at all. You MUST go thru FORD CRC.”

Call the GM at the Ford Dealership you bought the car from, they will read you this document.“Yes, Ford knows there are noises coming from the transmission area. These chatter noises were necessary in order to get 40mpg for you. No Replacements Focus’s at all. You MUST go thru FORD CRC.”

Next week I will be attending NEW CAR SHOWS standing right in front of Focus’s & Fiesta’s and will pass out flyers letting them know what happens when you buy a Focus you do not like. I have even made LEMON Signs to fit on top of MY car, BBW!! Also, I have stamped FOCUS on cases of LEMONS and will be handing them out. I HAVE NO CHOICE! FORD SAYS I HAVE NO OPTIONS, ITS MY FAULT, AND I MUST ADJUST!WRONG!!!

PS: I am on repair visit # 5. MY Lawyer says it NEVER ends with this type of transmission, it only gets worse.

Focus 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 10,000 miles

Ford Dealers KNOW exactly which Focus's are bad! I'm on incident # 3, diagnosed as needing a 3rd tranny, but the parts are on back order til Mar 2015. They told me I had to take the car back, because they're not a storage facility. They can't even start to fix it til Mar 2015, and I must drive this very Unsafe, Very Dangerous car.

My dealer said good luck, you're on your own, stop calling us, or we'll get a lawyer. I said, you have another Focus, there, just trade me, he said NO, you made a deal for this one and MUST see it thru. I said, you have other Focus on the lot, are you going to get them checked? He said NOPE, we don't have to, and it's a waste of our time.

Please ask the dealers to sign this disclosure: James Ford, Ford dealer is an Authorized seller of Lemon Law cars, which car is the lemon? They definitely know, but it's more fun to make you guess. We promise if this happens it is totally legally, there is Nothing you can do to hurt us and we have every right to sell these cars, Ford backs us all the way.
