problem #1

Aug 012019

Focus SE 1.0L

  • CVT transmission
  • 20,388 miles

This problem started at 11,000 miles at which the vehicle was brought in to a Ford dealer for inspection due to pedal pulsation when applying the brakes. The ford dealer turned the front rotors and replaced the front pads at my expense. The rear pads and rotors were not touched. I took the vehicle to the Ford service 8/1/2019 to have the oil changed and tire rotation when I was informed that the rear brake pads were worn thin and the rotor on passenger was scored due to metal on metal because pad material gone. Odometer : 20,388

now either Ford factory pads are junk -- which I doubt -- OR Ford motor company has another really expensive problem (think re-call ) on their hands that they don't know about yet - or willingly admit to.

By the way all you home grown techs out there, the calipers were checked for sticking, and no I don't drive it like I stole It.
