The vehicle was towed to the same dealer where it was diagnosed with the same failure. The vehicle was repaired, however, the failure recurred. The contact was notified of the NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V905000 (Engine and Engine Cooling) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 95,000. Engine and oil light turned on, was then unable to accelerate past 20mph and engine sounded horrible. -?? Our mechanic looked at the car and said the oil vacuum pump was obliterated inside the engine. He replaced the vacuum pump and said that the timing belt is inside the engine which is causing all the issues. -?? No warning lamps or messages appeared before this. Had just had an oil change a month before and there were no issues.

Both made an appt for the following week but neither told us not to drive the car. Later that day if happened again and the brakes would not work to stop the car so another vehicle was hit and sup sequentaly totaled my vehicle.
