Bought this car brand new off the lot. Put 18K miles on it and drove it from Iowa to Illinois for the Chicago Auto Show, then I get back to Iowa and it states Power Steering Fault, and at that point the vehicle was hard to control and the steering would stick and not auto correct itself. I pulled into my driveway put the car in Park and the message then went to Total Steering Loss and flashed a red light at me. Thank god I was in my driveway and not currently on the road.

I had the vehicle towed to local dealer and they just reset the codes and called it good. I get the car back and of course it starts to snow and the message comes back on that there is a fault and the steering is sticking. Called Ford Motor Company and they escalated it to the dealership. Come to find out after several back and forth conversations with the dealership that the power steering rack needed to be replaced.

Ford thankfully covered it under warranty. This is not the only issue I’ve had with this awful vehicle. I will not be buying Ford ever again.
