The contact owns a 2006 Ford Freestyle. The contact stated that the accelerator pedal would intermittently become stuck in the open throttle position causing unwanted acceleration. The contact applied the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously and then shifted into park to stop the vehicle. The throttle motor was replaced by an authorized dealer. The manufacturer did not offer any assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 63,000 and the current mileage was approximately 65,000. Updated12/15/10. Updated 12/27/10
