BOUGHT IN MARCH OR APRIL 2017 AND SOON AFTER IT SURGED BUT NOT MUCH IN COOL WEATHER, IN THE HOT IT IS TERRIBLE. TODAY 8/8/18 I FOUND THAT WHEN I LET IDLE IN NEUTRAL IT DOES NOT SURGE BUT PRESS THE BRAKE AND IT GOES TO 2500-3000RPM, MY AC WORKS FINE AND NO APPARENT CONNECTION. WHEN I HAVE TO HARD BRAKE I MUST PUT IN NEUTRAL OR HIT SOMEONE. I GIVE SPACE ALL THE TIME AND NOT FOLLOW TO CLOSE TO ALLOW RESPONSE TO THIS TERRIBLE PROBLEM. I DO FEAR A BAD WRECK AND RUINING MY DRIVE TRAIN. I GET 30MPG CITY/ROAD AVG AND TRANS IS GOOD CONDITION AND NOW 151K BEAUTIFUL CAR THAT RIDES GREAT AND ROOMY WISH THE DEALER COULD FIX. THEY DID NOT CHARGE FOR 90 MIN EVAL AND CHARGED MY AC. DEFINITELY A CLASS ACTION SUIT NEEDED AS POSSIBLE DEATHS COULD OCCUR OR ALREADY. THIS CAR WAS DESIGNED BY GENIUSES. IT COULD HAVE BEEN MORE PLUSH BUT LEATHER SEATS USED ARE CHEAPER THAN CLOTH??? PLEASE LETS SUE FORD AND MAKE THEM FIX THIS AND REDESIGN THE MALFUNCTIONS.
