I have a 2007 Ford Freestyle. The transmission has gone out in my car. I have experience unconditional "surging" while the car was in gear. I have gone without running the air conditioner, thinking that was the "cause" of the car surging (taking off). The increase acceleration (revving) of the speedometer and RPM gauges were very alarming. The occurrences were many throughout the two years of me driving the car. The wrench appeared while I was driving, the car died. I pulled over and started the car back up. It hesitated after two tries, it finally turned over. I preceded to go to T my next destination three hours later, after transporting the athletes that I coach, the car stop as we were traveling down the road (on going traffic).there is where "everything " went pieces. The car was not getting any gas, it would not go into drive nor reverse. I was scared and devastated, the kids were frightened, screaming out that we were going to die. I am praying that Ford would make a justifiable decision on recalling this make and model before "tragedy" stumble upon their company, confused & concern.

Everytime I have the A/C on in my vehicle (2007 Ford Freestyle) I put the car in drive or in reverse the vehicle lunges forwards or backwards. I almost hit a car while I was trying to park. If a child had been walking behind the vehicle I could of seriously hurt them. I do not want to be held accountable for an accident like this when this vehicle should be recalled for repairs before this happens if not to me someone else. This happens everytime I have the A/C on. Now the engine light and wrench is on and I am afraid to drive it.

The rear rotors and pads on my 2007 Ford Freestyle (fwd) were replaced for the second time at 43,700 miles, less then 15K miles after the first time. The first time there was no charge at 28,900 miles under the Ford program 07N10. The front pads were replaced and the rotors turned only once at 43,700. The Ford dealership service area said the rear rotors needed to be replaced just from normal wear. I heard that the front brakes are the stopping power of my Freestyle, if that is true one would think that the front rotors would have the same amount of wear, or am I incorrect?

My 2007 Ford Freestyle was delivered in January, 2007. In March 2008, the transmission went and the dealer had the Freestyle until the end of may, 2008. The dealer told me that "people" were flown in from "detroit." Then, in August, 2009, the transmission went on the mass pike at 65 mph. I called the dealer and I was told that it was my responsibility because the car was out of warranty, but the new transmission only had 11,000 miles on it. (as an aside, no one was at the dealership that I had any contact with when the transmission went in 2008.) I called Ford. I was told that this was not a "Ford problem" because it was not fixed by Ford, but rather by the "transmission shop around the corner." Ford's problem has been sitting in my driveway since them and I continue to pay for Ford's problem.

The contact owns a 2007 Ford Freestyle. The vehicle has Continental touringcontact as tires, size 205/65R15. The contact stated that her tires became worn and the tread became bald very quickly. The tires only had 25,000 miles. The vehicle was taken to a repair shop and they stated that the dill valve stems were recalled. The vehicle has tech international, model TR413 valve stems. Air continued to leak from the tires due to the valve stems and the contact had to refill them with air each week. She purchased two rear tires for her vehicle. The two front tires have not yet been replaced. The manufacturer has not been notified. The valve stem equipment information was unavailable. The current mileage was 25,021 and failure mileage was 25,000.
