I've been hearing air in my brakes for two days and my brakes were not working as good as before. I haven't lost any brake fluid. As I was driving down the road and while braking to stop my brake pedal hit the bottom of my foot really hard and brakes went completely out and all I could hear was air and the brakes became almost impossible to press at all anymore.

Safety Recall Notice 19S54/NHTSA Recall 19V-904 Received recall notice April 2021 that the parts HCU (hydraulic control unit) for the antilock brake system is faulty. Brought to the dealer on April 21, 2021, Sayville Ford, Sayville NY and they told me to pick up the vehicle, had the same soft pedal. Drove it home and 2 weeks later hit an uneven surface and pedal went to the floor, had to pump numerous times to stop, almost hit a parked car. This had happened 2 times before I received the recall notice and both times ended up in the intersection. Brought it back to Sayville Ford they had it for 2 weeks and called me to tell me that Ford Motors Denied the claim and will not fix the problem. I bought this vehicle new in 2006 for my wife and I will not let her drive it. It is very dangerous to be driven on the road at this point. The vehicle has only 32,000 miles I spoke to Ford Motor Corp and they will not honor this Recall 19S54. Please help, I do not know where to go from here. My name is [XXX] and my wife name is [XXX], we live in Bohemia NY my phone #[XXX]. INFORMATION Redacted PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

My car slips out fo gear, slows down on the highway, revvs at high RPM's, and won't accelerate again unless I slam the gas pedal down. It only does this sometimes. Also, I have been experiencing intermittent brake failure. I apply my foot onto the break, and it goes straight to the floor. Delays stop time substantially.

My car is fire safety recall of the ABS system in first quarter of 2020 but Ford still has not provided the recall. My braking has failed several times when I braked hard; the brake did not put into effect until the pedal went all the way to the floor. It's a very dangerous situation and Ford has to offer the recall as soon as possible as it's already overdue for 4 months.

Started out brake pedal would go to floor and it would take greater distance to stop. I had to start using the E brake to stop the car but now I have absolutely no brakes including the ebrake. I have replaced all the brakes including caliper and still break pedal goes to floor and no brakes. When vehicle is off I pump the brakes the pedal gets stiff but as soon bbc as I turn the key straight to the floor. The other day I had to have it towed home because I lost braking completely resulting in me running a red light avoiding a traffic crash and being pulled over. Needless to say I'm very displeased.

I paid cash for my car before I realize that the company had over 4 recalls on the car. 1st recall I was in a rental for over a month because of the nakata airbag if deployed would have caused harm to my passenger by deploying glass-like particals. And now 2nd recall is the anti-lock break which claims it can be open causing you to have to breaker sooner possible causing a crash. I am currently not able to purchase a new car and with the Ford settlement haven't heard about the safety of us driving under these conditions.

I was on a city street, in motion, going about 10-15 mph. I was braking in a construction zone, while going over a bump where the pavement dropped. It felt like the ABS engaged, then the brake pedal went to the floor. I pulled into a nearby parking lot where I could test the brakes. I was able to pump up the brakes, apply pressure, but then lost the brake pedal again. I repeated this process probably a dozen times until finally I had normal braking again. I'm reporting this because I found this link after googling my issue: Https://consumermediallc.files.wordpress.com/2016/12/inoa-PE16017-4745.pdf although the pdf there doesn't include my model year, it sounds exactly the same.
