Fusion SEL 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 45,000 miles

i believe this is a safety issue as the air bag lights comes on intermittently and feel i cant let my mother or my grandchildren ride in the front seat. I have bought several Fords between me and my husband 12 to 13, we have never asked Ford for help with anything and they should cover it. They sure took our money to pay for it. My husband has worked at several Ford dealerships and I have worked at 2 now the one I bought this Ford at and the one I work at now.. They keep putting me off until now no one will help.

Fusion SE V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 119,000 miles

2008 ford fusion se, love the car but last march noticed the passenger side airbag material lifting, keeps getting worse. It worries me that since its the airbag, that it might go off while I am driving it and cause a serious injury to myself or someone else.

Fusion LX 3.2L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 75,000 miles

My daughter is in college and working as a nanny to supplement her income and called and said her air bag is poking thru the dash board. She is responsible for 3 children daily and now has this to deal with. Obviously out of warranty but ford has some issues here.

Fusion SE 4 cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,000 miles

I noticed the same thing on my 08 Fusion. My passenger door trim just above the arm rest separated from the panel. It is still sticky on the backside of it so every now and then I will stick it back on. It only stays a very short time. This seems to be a poor design by ford and should have been fixed by them. Trim and appearance of my vehicle is important to me. That is why I bought this car. I've never had issues with ford like this before but it doesn't look good. Seems they have never fixed appearance issues in the past (i.e. every split 2002-2004 explorer/Moutaineer rear lift gate trim) and now this. Keep it up ford and see what happens.

Fusion SEL

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

Ford advises they are not responsible for defects once the car reaches 36,000 miles and refuses to take responsibility for fixing it, despite how obvious it is that shoddy construction is the cause and the car is only two years old.

Fusion SEL

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

Ford indicates that problems occurring after 36,000 miles are not their problem. If it makes it that far they refuse to consider repairing any defects no matter how blatantly attributable to shoddy construction they might be.
