There is a hump in my dash from the air bag, got a letter from them saying it was unsafe for anyone to sit in front passenger seat, I have been very patient as I bought this car new and it has been an issue for more than 4 years. I feel Ford has had plenty of time to fix this. Really"?? make my husband and son have to sit in the back seat???" I have grown very tired of looking at hump on dash from defective airbag. It is time my car was fixed!!!!!!!!! the hump below airbag on dash just popped up going down the road - it was neither extremely hot or cold.

" was the used car dealership aware of this recall when I purchased a Ford Fusion 2008 on 2/3/2017 from him " because Ford announced the recall in July 2016 and the used car dealer, had bought this Ford Fusion 2008 at a used car auction 1 month prior to me buying it..Ford Motor Company did send me 1 recall in December 2017 on the air bags, but said parts wont be available until the spring of 2018..and allso said they sent me a prior recall notice, which they got wrong ! Ford allso stated if have any passengers they got to ride in the back seat. I would not of purchased Ford Fusion 2008 if I would of known this.. today when I was driving my Ford a picture of a air bag came on just below my engine light.it flashed on an off 3.times in one day, and T havnt seen it flash since then..

Takata recall - I was first notified in June 2016 that there might be a risk of harm due to passenger airbag. I still have not heard anything about getting it replaced. I just called a local Ford dealer and was told that when the part becomes available I will be notified. This is taking way too long and I am so nervous about my passengers safety my kids are not able to sit in the front seat. This is ridiculous.

I received a recall about a year ago on my airbag. After a year they are still telling me they have not received the parts to fix it and you can now see where it is starting to deflate and I haven't been in an accident. Now my dash is deformed and a part of the airbag is visible. Something needs to be done about this!! I have contacted Ford Motor Company and they stated that I needed to take it to be looked at and would have to pay upfront but I refuse to pay anything due to it being a recall. They need to fix my airbag and my dash free of charge. When calling the dealership to have them look they pretty much tell me I am crazy and there is nothing they can do and that the airbag would not mess the dash up. Please help!!!!
