problem #3

Dec 242013

Fusion SEL V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,000 miles

I also am having trouble with the trunk lift lever being defective, along with the CD player I have got some CD inside the player that I can't retrieve. It was not advised to repair or replace because it would make this worse or be defective.

problem #2

Aug 202014

Fusion SE 2.3L L4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 52,000 miles

This was the first time we had the issue. Got the car home from buying from dealer and two days later the six disc CD player loses its mind and won't load CDs. I tried multiple ways to reset or clear the system to no avail. My wife stopped at the dealer and our salesman did the same exact thing I tried and cleared it right out. If only that would have been the last of the issue.

Ford needs to recall these worthless CD players. The car is great otherwise but it is PATHETIC that they failed so miserably on these units.

Fusion SE 2.3L L4

  • Automatic transmission
  • 54,000 miles

For the second time, the six disc CD player has completely lost its mind. With three discs inside, it suddenly does not recognize them. Multiple reset attempts and self tests do not help. However, the radio.and auxiliary functions still work.

Will be utilizing the ESP soon.

Google search reveals this is a rampant issue with Fords and yet they offer no real solution.
