The contact owns a 2009 Ford Fusion. When the contact attempted to apply the brakes after driving over a bump in the road, the brake pedal traveled to the floorboard. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to dave sinclair Ford Inc. (7466 S lindbergh blvd, St. Louis, mo 63125, (314) 892-2600) where it was diagnosed that the master cylinder needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The failure mileage was 62,500.
