The contact owns a 2009 Ford Fusion. While driving various speeds, the contact depressed the brake pedal, but the pedal would only go three quarters of a way down. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed, but no failure code was found. The dealer was not notified. The manufacturer was notified and opened case number: 14684679. The approximate failure mileage was 64,500.
