This car was already recalled for the passenger side airbag and it took more than 2 years to get it replaced, with the recommendation that noone sit in the passenger seat. My daughter, with a 9 month old infant is driving this car and is now afraid to drive it with the driver side airbag recall. There is no timeline and now she no longer will drive this car. Because the stated risk is if the airbag inflater explodes, sharp metal fragments could strike the driver or other occupants causing serious injury or death. Would you drive your 9 month old in that car?? we need a better solution than we have no idea when we can fix it! thank you! kevin walli

This same vehicle had a passenger airbag recall. And a loaner vehicle was provided. This new recall is more serious given it is on the drivers side.

Airbag: Took car in for passenger air bag recall, got the car back and now the passenger airbag light not working properly and they want to charge me. It was fine till the recall issue for the passenger airbag. Fuel system: Every time I fill my gas tank (I never top off), my car stalls our or bucks. After 40 or so miles it wont do it anymore until I fill up again. I've even had it stall going 40 mph.

The airbag light came on for the first time Wednesday, October 7, 2020. I started my car after being parked at work for 9 hours. No one was parked next to me, no damage on my car either. I am the original owner of the vehicle. At some point in the last several years (4 or less) I took my vehicle to sunset Ford in sunset hills, mo for a recall of some sort. The only other problem I've had with my car is the front passenger seat shakes. The bolts keeping the seat to the frame of the car are tight. So I'm not really sure of the iissue.

Air bags did not deploy in 45 mph front end T-bone crash to the front passenger side of the Ford Fusion. My 2011 Ford Fusion steering went out while I was driving on us 19 port richey by main St almost causing me to be involved in a accident I contacted Ford of port richey they made me an appointment on 4/20/20 which I took my car for service it is still in the garage over 2 weeks later to tell me on 5/ 4/2020 that the recall was fixed at another garage in 2016 I contacted the other dealership which was flammer Ford of spring hill they tell me all they did was reset the programming in the steering so the steering gear was never replaced now I am again having problems I have contacted Ford higher up from the dealership and there saying because it was replaced once and due to miles they are not gonna fix it..a recall does not have a expiration date and it is a defect in the vehicle I am trying to get this taken of and I am not having any luck its only fair they fix there defective part god for bid I would of been in an accident.so I am asking for Ford to fix the steering recall number 15N01 or 15S18 both related to the steering.

We were stationary at a red light at a 4-way intersection. A car from the opposite direction (coming towards us) ran the red light and hit us head-on doing approx. 50 mph. The passenger airbag in our car did not deploy during the head-on collision. The driver's airbag did deploy. I was in the passenger's seat and suffered numerous injuries due to the airbag not deploying.

The contact stated after the repair was completed, the technician informed her that the traction warning light was illuminated, the air bag module needed to be replaced and that the air bag module may not deploy in the event of an accident. The vehicle was not repaired due to the repair fees. The vehicle was taken to two independent mechanic for second opinion and was informed that the dealer had to take responsibility. The contact also mentioned that the seat belt on the driver side failed to retract and was loose. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 84,000.

To whom it concerns, well first of all I purchase a vehicle from, I don't have the title, so the bank and the dealership got that stuff. Next they think they can be rude, lie, and play games, thirdly they said I wrecked when it came off the lot on condition as it was in, but no way. Fourthly, they wand to lie and say 2 different store just like the bank does, I've had to put almost a 1000 bucks into the vehicle, and I'm upside down in it, I told the bank this, and the bank said they be contacting the dealership, never happened I asked to take the 1000 bucks off my loan for these services but won't, this why I'm reporting them, next the bank can never decide if they want insurance on the vehicle been harassed by both the dealership and bank, which is first premier bank and frankman motors sioux falls, sd, plus I was suppose to receive a manual for my car never happened, so something needs to be done, if both places of business's want me to be nice, they got to earn it, and do something about this lemon vehicle

And one it had to do with the fuel system when I did the recall for it a year later I had the same issue took it to Ford an they want me to pay over 500 for it when it was a recall the fuel light came on it says check fule inlet. It has disappeared now an the check engine light went away. There was a recall for the power steering. My steering wheel is locking it said that power steering locked. And they said that I cant do the recall. I have a 2011 Ford Fusion SE. And the only recall they said was there was for the air bags. I want to know why I cant get these things fixed. Less than 6 months later the airbag sensor is on for no apparent reason and the dealership wants to charge an arm & a leg. I've read many reviews if this happening to other Ford Fusion owners. Takata recall -- I've called my local Ford dealership (sheehy Ford, warrenton (540) 347-1234) twice (April 2019) and (June 2019) in response to receipt of notice of airbag recall. Dealer says that parts are not available to replace the airbags, I am being put on a waiting list, and will receive a call back. Dealer has never called back. Today received a notice from the Virginia department of motor vehicles notifying me that my air bags need to be replaced and that there is no record of my having attempted to contact Ford Motor Company. This is not correct.
