AC MOTOR RELAY KEEPS FRYING. ONLY HAD CAR SINCE MAY, 2017. TODAY IS 7/27/2017. I AM A SINGLE MO WITH 3 KIDS. I NEED FORD TO FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY. MY LAST FORD ENDED UP HAVING AC PROBLEMS. I BET I DON'T EVER EVER BUY ANOTHER FORD. I CALLED FORD COMPANY, THEY DO NOT CARE. PROBABLY BC THEY ALREADY KNOW ABOUT THAT THIS IS A CONTINUOUS PROBLEM. SEE MY OTHER 2 PRIOR COMPLAINTS. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN IT THE VERY BEST I COULD.

BOUGHT THIS CAR THE END OF MAY,2017 AND TODAY'S DATE IS 7/27/2017. HAVE TAKEN IT 3 TIMES TO GET AC FIXED SINCE I'VE HAD IT. IT'S A MIRACLE IT HAS NOT CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE FIRST TIME THE WIRES HAD MELTED THAT CONNECTED INSIDE THE CAR, I THINK ITS CALLED A MOTOR RELAY. AND IT WAS FIXED 2 WEEKS LATER RIDING DOWN THE ROAD SAME THING HAPPENED FRIED THE WIRE'S AND SILVER PIECE AND AGAIN ON 7,25/2017.I BOUGHT THIS BC MY OTHER FORD FUSION 2007 AC QUIT WORKING SO I FIGURED IT WAS TIME FOR A CHANGE. I THINK MY NEXT CAR WILL BE A HONDA. I AM A WOMAN AND HAVE 3 CHILDREN. SO IT'S VERY IMPORTANT THAT MY AC IS WORKING.

The problem started soon after I bought the car (lease return) and soon the AC began to would work randomly. I did not bring it to the dealer since the problem was random, how can you find what is wrong if it works when the dealer is trying to diagnose. Since we use the car sparingly and winter arrived, the issue was moot.

Now the AC has quit completely, the dealer diagnosed it (for $97) as a sensor located in the heater/ac assembly under the dash (another $500 to fix). I searched the internet for the issue and found that Ford knows the sensors can be defective and the dealer network knows about the issue.

I think Ford should research the known issue and either recall the Fusions or offer to repair the issue under warranty regardless of mileage.

As an aside, I have bought a lot of GM product new and still have two of them, both vehicles have two hundred thousand (200,000) miles and the AC still works. For this purchase I thought I should try Ford but am now thinking it was a bad decision.

Needless to say, my next purchase will be GM.

so my heater and air conditioner shuts off at random times the suddenly turns back on its a pain in the ass in the winter time. i took it in to be fixed and they said it was a condenser and they replaced it. now the heater is so loud i cant stand it so I'm gong to have to call them again and I'm sure it will take a day or two to fix it so i will have to rent a car at my own expense. thanks a lot ford, you suck.
