I was driving down a hill when there was a pop, something blew but I can't remember what it was. I lost all the fluid and I had my two kids in the car.

Can't believe the brakes didn't last longer. My Hyundai got almost 80k on them before they had to be replaced. And I am doing the same type of driving

VERY intermittent problem. Three times over the past 14 months, I start up the car drive, about 200 feet to a stop sign, press the brake pedal and it feels like the brakes are hardly working! With a greater than normal amount of pressure, I stopped the car, then proceeded from the intersection and the problem does not exist. No problem with the brakes for several months, then it happens again. My wife's legs have arthritis and she cannot apply the pressure on the brake pedal like I can. I'm worried that this might happen to her with her ending up going into traffic. There are no codes, no squeaks, no grinds, just the feeling that the brakes don't want to apply themselves to their function: stopping the car.

Checked with my dealer, and they cannot find any record of a similar problem with this year, make, and model, nor are there any TSBs on the subject. Otherwise the car performs flawlessly. Dealer states that they can't do anything until they are able to get the car to fail. Since this is very intermittent, every four to six months, it would be highly unlikely that the dealer would experience this failing. Would like any Fusion owner who has had a similar problem write in concerning this and what caused it.

hi I was going on my holiday to nova scotia and my car rear breaks and discs gone. My car had 22000 km on it and I don't think that is normal but dealer told that is normal. I don't think so .
