Lost power steering at 65 MPH - very scary. The traction control light came on and the message center also had the message" service power steering now" as well as Service Advancetrac"

I was driving home over the winter and I randomly lost power steering that has never come back. The Service AdvanceTrac light is on and has not gone off since this occurred. I understand that many are experiencing similar issues, and that a recall for 2013-2015 models has been issued, and that an investigation is underway for my model. My biggest issue is that my car will not pass inspection without this costly repair, and it is clearly a known problem with the power steering. I bought a ford from my brother's recommendation, and have received little support or help from the dealer. I am so disappointed and found questioning whether I should have ever left GM vehicles.

Service the vehicle...This came on today after the power assist keeps coming on. I cannot afford these items. My car is only 2 years old - why am I having these problems. Poorly made vehicle. Ford should be ashamed. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER FORD IN MY LIFE ( I have always had a Ford and been satisfied but lately they are not cars of quality).

January of this year paid to have AdvanceTrac system repaired, and low and behold less than a year later it is out again. This is becoming a royal pain in the ass... Ford really should do the recall on these cars and fix all of the issues that are going on with these cars!!!!! No wonder why we got a letter in the mail stating they would do anything to get us to come in and purchase a new car.

My wife and I are on vacation in Branson, Missouri and the power steering in our car immediately stopped working. Was very thankful that we were not on these winding roads when it happened! Anyway, I thought it quite odd that something like this would happen with just 44,000 miles on the car. I researched on the internet and found many complaints on this very problem, and just how many possible accidents could have happened had it not been for the grace of God. This is a very serious issue , not to mention very expensive too. I believe it is something Ford needs to address before someone's attorney does.

It is showing this message along with the power assist steering fault. Really need to take care of this Ford. Our esteemed government needs to make them take care of it before someone is killed. This could get ugly at 70 mph on the turnpike!
