In October 2012 I purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion SE 1.6L engine with eco boost, which now has approximately 26,000 miles on it. The left side hood latch is not functioning properly preventing the hood from latching securely on that side. It is a significant concern for me that the hood may release in full while the vehicle is in motion. The overall safety of this vehicle becomes of greater concern to me given this recent issue in light of the three prior safety recalls on this specific Fusion model.
