The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. While driving approximately 40 mph, the headlights failed to illuminate properly causing the contact to use the high beams to drive. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact was made aware of NHTSA campaign number: 12V553000 (exterior lighting); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000.
