When vehicle sits in the sun all day at high temp, the driver's seat belt will not deploy. The tensioner locks up. After sitting several minutes with A/C on high the seat belt will still not deploy. This is a serious issue making the vehicle unsafe to drive for the driver.

Had my oil change/tire rotation done on 08/01/19 and was told I had to get new lug nuts as they were swollen & misshapen. Cost of $200 to change them. I thought this is wi, winters are harsh so ok. Apparently this is not new according to this website. Also have no working airbags as a sensor for the seatbelt is not working. To fix that will be $300+ but I refuse to pay for this as there is a recall in place for that also!! we are loyal Ford customers and to find out Ford knows about this is infuriating. We are now looking to trade this Fusion in (only 75K miles on it) but do we go with another Ford or a different make. To have to even ask this question astounds me. Ford - fix the problems!!!

I have been getting the run around from local dealers about getting the repair on the seatbelt pretensioners recall. I was told the parts were ordered, then waited a month. Called again, still not in. When I call call back, after I ask about it, I get sent to voice mail with no call back. It has been 5 months. A second dealer I called to try to get the repair is doing the voicemail issue with me as well.. obviously, the dealers don't want to fix it. They want me to go away.

I have had the worst experience with trying to get my recall resolved 1st of all my door open while on the highway. And also while I was on my way to work. So I called only to find out that this was part of a national recall. Now I thought I only had a recall on my seatbelts and airbag. Now had they kept their word on March 28th this could have been resolved. Help....

  • 84,000 miles
From the day I first drove my car off the lot it was a 2013 Ford Fusion S it's gray. I started the engine and then sat in the driver's seat before I put it in drive I hear a loud thumping noise generating from the back end of my car. And it's still doing it 4 months later non-stop and I cannot figure out what's going on also there is a rusted hole in my muffler. Also often times when I am driving when accelerating the transmission has a huge lag in it and sometimes it sticks without shifting to the proper gear to accelerate, sometimes I have to actually manually shift the gears. And it gets very rough when it slips and slides and makes a big drop which also shakes the entire vehicle and it also impairs the driving performance. And another thing is the seat belt, the rear middle seat of my vehicle when installing a child safety seat the middle seat belt got all jammed up and would not work at all. I had to replace it with an aftermarket seat belt because Ford didn't want to fix it for free and wanted to charge me upwards of $400 just for the seat belt that wasn't my fault that I got damaged I just installed the child seat like the local police showed me to and then once I got it out the seat belt it's not working. They say it's not a part of the recall which I already have 4 recalls on my vehicle that is not yet fixed.
