There is a safety recall regarding the driver and front passenger seat belts. The seat belts may not properly restrain occupants during a crash. This has been on recall since November 2016 without any solution yet. This is a significant safety risk that should already have had a fix.

I want to sell my car. The seatbelt recall does not have a fix date yet. I cannot sell my car to a dealer and get a market price until the seatbelt is fixed. The dealer is saying 3rd quarter. This seems like too long. Also not safe.

On December 5th 2016 at approximately 6:15, my vehicle was involved in a violent rear end accident. A 1980 steel pick up ran into the back of my stationary 2013 Ford Fusion. Causing major rear end damage and physical injury to the occupants of this stationary car. My mother was properly placed in her passenger seat's seat belt. However, her right arm was damaged due to improper suspension upon impact. As a result she no longer has use of her right hand due to nerve damage.

I received a recall for a defective seat belt assembly in my 2013 Ford Fusion weeks ago. Because this vehicle is used in a fleet capacity, I pulled it from service immediately. I talked to Ford and was told there is no remedy at this time. I then asked for a loaner vehicle until my vehicle was safe to drive and was told that Ford doesn't have a rental program for recalls. I don't know how this manufacture doesn't have a plan to rectify an inconvenience that their customers have to go through regarding a problem that wasn't the customers fault to begin with. I'm very unhappy Ford treats customers like this.
