Fusion SE 1.5L Ecoboost

  • Automatic transmission
  • 11,000 miles

Very distinct rattle coming from the Passenger side A Pillar. I had the car serviced at Suburban Ford and they temporarily fixed the issue by replacing the A pillar trim and applying "Anti-Squeak Tape".

4 months later it came back, however it is not as persistent as before. Now it seems to pick and choose days to rattle. For example yesterday when it was rather humid and about 78 degrees it was rattling on my whole commute home. Today it was cool and raining it rattled only when on a rough section of patched potholes and was quite for the rest of my drive. I can live with it for now, but its only going to get worse with age. I will bring it back in when I have some vacation days to burn so stay tuned for an update.

There is a distinct rattle on the passenger side, maybe the a frame or door panel. It is really noticeable when hitting rough roads or rumble strips
