Fusion SE 2.0L Ecoboost

  • Automatic transmission
  • 44,000 miles

2014 Fusion with the 2.0 ecoboost 44,000 miles. Fun car to drive, at least it was.... Started running rough on start up, then check engine light came on. Code reader indicated coil on cyl 2. Took it to the dealer (it's a lease and has been dealer maintained) and they found coolant in the combustion chamber (fouled out #2 plug hence the light). Now they say the cyl head is warped and #2 and #3 cylinders on the block are out of spec. Going on week 3 without use of the car. At least Ford is covering it under the drive line warranty (5 years 60K on internal components).

Fusion SE 1.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,338 miles

Bought 2014 Ford Fusion SE new, and with 11,330 miles, it has already had two new engines installed in it, a new front half axle, driver side airbag wiring replaced, and a gas filled system installed. And yesterday it was hauled back to the dealership where I purchased it, South Point Ford, South Point, Ohio, with an oil leak. I drove it home monday from the dealership where they had installed the second engine, and no oil on dipstick when I got it home!

Fusion SE 3.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 9,850 miles

I was driving my car at 75 mph when it started to vibrate and the check engine light turned on. I started losing power and was able to get it off the highway. It sputtered and vibrated. It left me and my four children stranded in the middle of nowhere. When it started to stall, there was an 18 wheeler to my right and one coming up behind me. The 18 wheeler had to slam on brakes. Talk about scary.

The car was towed using road side assistance to the nearest dealership which was 45 miles away. I don't know what's wrong with it just yet. I will keep you posted. My car only had 9,800 miles on it.

Fusion SE 1.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 140 miles

check engine light came on and some issues with shifting

The car had 140 miles on it and had to spend 4 days at the dealer to be repaired. I owned the car 3 days when it happened.

Took 2 tries to get it fixed, and if I hear one more time this has never happened before and that all the fusions they own don't have this issue I will scream.
