Fusion Titanuim 2.0L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 87,506 miles

I find this issue very annoying whenever I'm at a stop sign/or stoplight. I get to a stoplight when my vehicle is in drive, holding the brake the noise is sometimes unbearable. The vibration is so weird, it's hard to explain but it's there. I don't know what it is exactly but very frustrating. Ford Motors, fix this issue please.

Fusion Titanium 2.0L I4 Gtdi

  • Automatic transmission
  • 8,000 miles

I bought this vehicle brand new, but I noticed after just a few thousand miles that the vehicle shutters when shifting, and vibrates when idling, especially when foot on the brake stopped, but in gear. Fairly serious vibration, when shifting to neutral it goes away.

Purchased the car on 9/24/2013 returned it on 9/25/2013, took a week for the service dept to find the source of the vibration. Dealership advises that they placed an Alert notice with Ford Motor Company with no indication on how long it will take to correct the problem.

Update from Oct 2, 2013: Dealership has had the car for 7 days and explains the vibration is being caused by the fuel tank being full and vibrating against the exhaust system,an Alert has be filed with Ford motor co.
