I bought my 2014 Ford Fusion brand new and had to replace the transmission in 2020. I was driving when the transmission went out with no warning. I have always serviced the car when recommended and never missed an oil change.

This car constantly changes gears while in drive, and every time it shifts the car lurches forward. After about 4 months of owning the car the transmission busted and I'm f*cked lol.

Parked the car in the garage Friday evening. Saturday morning left for 1/2 mile trip to golf course and noticed car felt like it was starting off in 6th gear. Car barely had forward gears by the time I made it to course. Had to call roadside assist and have vehicle towed to dealership. Yup, no golf Saturday. Dealer checked it today and says they have to "rip out" transmission to find problem. This Fusion only has 5900 pampered miles on it. Will find out tomorrow (hopefully) what they find out.
