I parked my car safe and sound one night last week. When I left for work the next day, it had a foot long crack in the windshield for no apparent reason.

Fusion SE Appearance Package 1.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 22,000 miles

Bought this car new with 18miles on it and have nothing but trouble. Within a week the sunroof messed up and was off track, dealership fixed, then with 1500 miles the engine light came on and the vehicle shook going down the highway. Dealership said the ignition coil wasn't seated all the way down and they fixed that. There has been a rattle in the rear end since I bought the car and have had 2 Ford Dealerships look at the car and neither knew what the problem is. One said the brake caliper was loose and tightened it up but it didn't fix it.

Then at 22000 miles the windshield cracked on its own while sitting in the driveway. No damage whatsoever to the vehicle to cause it. Had a glass expert and the Ford Dealer look at it and both agreed it was a defect from the manufacture. Spoke to Ford Headquarters several times about the issue to have them replace the $700 windshield but they said that the windshield only has a 1year 12000 mile warranty, which I think is BS since it was defected!!

I will never buy another Ford after this is paid off!
