1.Air bag-control module :P&A RCM failed. 2.control module not working that's mean upon impact the sensors will send the signal to the control module, but the module will not be able to initiate the deployment of the airbags, putting the passengers of the vehicles at risk. 3.yes the component been inspected by ford dealership. 4.yes airbag lamp is on. a month ago the lamp is on.

The contact stated while driving 65-70 MPH, the messages: "Failed to Connect to AC Control System-€, -€œSRS Air Bags System Malfunctioning" and "Blind Spot Visual System Not Working" were displayed. Additionally, the vehicle went into limp mode independently and would not accelerate over 65 MPH. The contact stated upon parking the vehicle, the doors and windows failed to unlock. The contact banged the front driver's side door several times and the door finally unlocked. The contact was also able to unlock the rear driver's side door after several attempts. However, the front and rear passenger side doors remained locked. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but the dealer declined to assist. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 65,000.

I have a 2015 ford fusion with around 37000miles. But the sealing between air bag and passenger side dashboard are broken. I'm afraid that the air bag might pumped out under normal condition if the cracks are too big. I think it could be quality issue. It could be very dangerous and put our lives at risk. Besides that, there was no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure. I called Ford customer service, they said that it could be their quality problem. However, they won't take the responsibility because they don't have recall for that issue. I think it put mine and my family's lives at risk, and I do need to bring attention.

Randomly and without warning, the entire climate control system shuts off as well as the entire center console. The only message during this period is "temporarily lost communication with climate control". When all this shuts off, the drivers side controls for the windows becomes inoperative as well as the passenger side lock/unlock button. This renders a safety hazard because during times of heat and cold it becomes impossible to run the climate control or roll the windows down for any air movement. Also an extreme hazard is the passenger is unable to unlock the doors in even of an emergency. Occasionally when this happens, the air bag light will illuminate, causing unknown safety hazards in that aspect. I have contacted the dealership and was told it sounds like a potentially faulty computer module, or faulty wiring that could cost thousands to repair. The issue occurs 80% of the time the car is in operation and seems to happen more on hot days where it becomes critical to have air movement/AC.

Air bag light came in, Ford dealer says seatbelt retractor pin broken, electrical connection corroded and entire assembly needs replaced! the have a service alert on this problem but no recall. Airbag will not operate until fixed! cannot afford the cost of repair! help!

While iam driving some time air bags image light up on the speedometer, collision warning will also light up and steering getting tighter.this is happening while iam driving on the streets and some time its happening on freeway too

I was stopped at a stop sign and was hit head on and the air bags never deployed. Damage to my grill, hood, bumper, side panels and driver side door wouldn't open. The impact should have caused my air bags to deploy. It was a hard enough impact that it actually moved my car. Air bags do not work.

Their findings were still pending. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The cause of the failure was not determined. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 97,500.

The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was called, but the line was busy. The failure mileage was approximately 139,888. The consumer stated the engine, stability control, transmission lights have all illuminated. The vehicle broken down twice.

The contact was not given a direct answer as to when the vehicle would be ready. The contact spoke with a manager at the dealer and was informed that someone would contact her to reschedule the repair. The contact had not yet heard back from anyone. The manufacturer was not contacted. The contact had not experienced a failure.

Vehicle displayed airbag warning light. After Ford inspected the vehicle they stated that the defect was in the driver's seat belt buckle and that it would need to be replaced at a cost of $400. Ford stated that the defect would not allow the air bags to deploy. I asked for my vehicle back but had to pay $89 for diagnostics. Took vehicle home and removed driver belt buckle and discovered wire broken at base of buckle (see attached images). This defect that will not allow airbags to deploy and involves a broken wire in the belt buckle should be a safety recall. Otherwise, what will happen is all the vehicles that have broken wires will not get fixed and the only defense is the seat beat alone.

Takata recall - I was involved in an accident 1/26/19. Big Ford truck hit me in my passenger side about the middle of the car toward the rear. It sent my car into a complete 360 spin across 2 lanes of traffic. No air bags deployed. My car has been totalled and both insurances dealt with advised me to find out why not. My car currently does not have a takata recall according to website. Possible it should be included.

'takata recall' on 6 Feb 2019, my son was cut off by another driver causing him to hydroplane off of the highway and through a ditch, making contact with a tree. The Fusion suffered moderate damage to the front end, and undercarriage. None of the air bags in the vehicle deployed even with the front end removed. My insurance company is totaling the car making my wife and I to wonder why our son was not protected by the airbag" it clearly should have deployed given the force of the impact. I have seen that there was a class action lawsuit for this in October of 2018. Is this case still open"

Was rear ended turning off mountain highway by an F350 and a van hit the truck that hit me, he was going at least 50 miles an hour when he hit me felt like he shoved me so hard I was airborne!!! no airbag went off which the officer who was on a witness to the accident and then stopped and made sure everyone was ok !! my body still hurts !!

"takata recall" in addition to this recall, I have 2 outstanding recalls with a refusal to work on a misfire and engine issues. My car has shut down with no warning on the road, misfiring with no warning, and no information on these common engine failures was given to me. No proof has been given of issues and am being forced into purchasing a new engine. I have been refused all help and have been waiting about a month for answers.
