The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that the vehicle would veer to the left and there was a loss of power steering ability. The steering assist fault, battery, traction control, and stabilitrak warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was towed to tri lakes Ford (180 state hwy T, branson, mo) where it was diagnosed that the steering gear was defective and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer stated that the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 18V167000 (steering). The failure mileage was approximately 96,000.
