Launched into second gear from first very fast. Then it wouldn-??t shift at all for awhile, then slowly worked between gears. Ford said it is the Torque converter and isn-??t covered by recall. Sounds very close and fishy to me. It was made at the Hermosillo Ford plant and less than a month past the recall for this same issue out of this plant for this year make and model. Ford said there is nothing they can do. New transmission is 12 weeks out due to part shortage.
