On October 1st my car displayed the "hood ajar" message and never went away. This happened before. While I was driving a couple months back but it went away within 20 minutes. One night I hear a car alarm going off so I walk outside and its my car! All the doors are closed (including hood). I turned it off walked back inside after 10 minutes I hear the alarm going off AGAIN. I had to turn my alarm off AT LEAST 5 times.

The message stayed on my screen for 6 days and the only reason it went away is because that is the day I took it to the dealership (October 6th).

They told me my alarm was going off because my car thought my hood was open and thought someone was trying to get under my hood. Dealership told me they fixed it and I was good to go.

Few weeks later the "hood ajar" message came back on while driving but it went away in 20 minutes.

Today 11/9/17 I just walked into work from lunch (no message today) and I hear a car alarm I walk out and ITS MY CAR. Before I can grab my keys and turn the alarm off my alarm stops going off but I walk out anyway and my lights are still flashing as if my alarm was still going off. I unlock my car and lock it back and my lights went off.

Come back inside BAM alarm is going off again. Taking it BACK to dealer tomorrow. I haven't even had this car one year. This is ridiculous. Paying $20,000.00 for a car that acts like a hunk of SH*T.
