The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fusion The contact stated a more than normal amount of coolant constantly had to be added to the vehicle. After a while, the vehicle began to run rough. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled. The contact would turn off and restart the vehicle and the vehicle would operate as needed. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact spoke with a certified mechanic who stated that the failure was related to NHTSA ID Number: 10169807 (Engine and Engine Cooling). The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and opened a case. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the Technical Service Bulletin. The approximate failure mileage was 107,212.
