The contact owned a 2013 Ford Fusion energi. While driving various speeds, the contact's vehicle was rear ended by another vehicle. As a result, the contact's vehicle was pushed into oncoming traffic, which lead to a head on collision. The air bag failed to deploy. The driver sustained injuries, received medical attention, and later died. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a tow lot and deemed destroyed. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
