The contact owns a 2015 Ford Fusion energi. While the vehicle was charging, the plug melted into the wall at the contact's home. The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA campaign number: 18V592000 (equipment). The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The vehicle was taken to West hills Ford (1100 oyster bay ave S, bremerton, wa 98312) and they stated that the part was not available. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
