The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fusion Energi. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, he became aware that the electronic power steering was not functioning properly, with the steering wheel feeling abnormally loose. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who diagnosed a failure with the steering column fastener. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V167000 (Steering), but the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 60,000.

My vehicle odo 24000km the error comes on the screen ' steering fault service now' I bought it from Texas and transferred to jordan I was checking on Ford website for recalls but it not appears. It's very important to solve this issue since the vehicle steering locked during driving.
