While I was driving my brand new 2018 Ford Fusion Energi, the center screen and the driver console with the speedometer all suddenly went black (blank) and the vehicle simply shut down without any warning while I was driving in the middle of the road (traffic). It came without any warning or indicators flashing. When I attempted to start up the car again, nothing registered, the car refused to start up. The whole car just went dark and dead in the middle of the road. Multiple vehicles which were much older than my brand new Ford Fusion Energi had to swerve around me since I was blocking the road. A brand new vehicle should not be left stranded in the middle of the road. This is a very unnerving experience to have a car sudden go dark and refused to move an inch - a safety hazard. This is not a good start for a brand new vehicle.
