Fusion Hybrid Limited

  • CVT transmission

The car will not start if left sitting more than 30 days.. We often spend more than 30 days away from home making this a major problem. I have had to have my son start the car every 15 days and run for several minutes to charge the high voltage battery. This is a pain in the butt. This has worked for a while ,however last week when he went out to start the car and it has failed to start after only 20 days. The 12V battery has been checked and charged so should not be the problem. I suspect that it is some kind of software problem, but not sure. They need to fix this other wise people may get stranded if they leave this car at an airport more than 15 or 20 days. I like the way the car performs except for this starting problem, but it is a major one. when I get home in few weeks I will have it truck into the dealer ship for the second time. I see this as my last hybrid car as they apparently not very dependable.
