The contact owns a 2011 Ford Fusion hybrid. While driving various speeds, the vehicle stalled on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 29,237. Updated 01/31/2017

Acceleration went out. Just quit working while on interstate. Fortunately was able to coast over three lanes to shoulder. Ford dealer mechanic told me "have to reset computer. That it happens". it was second time it happened. First time was three years ago while pulling out of parking lot.

Drive by wire throttle body failed, causing car to loss all power on crowded highway at high speed. Had to cross several lanes of heavy traffic to get to off highway safely. Barely avoided several accidents trying to get pulled out of traffic lanes.

The wrench symbol was displayed on the control panel when the vehicle lost speed. It felt like it stalled out. Then the engine light came on. The car has very low miles on it and is practically brand new. I did not feel safe.
