About a month ago my car quit while driving, and the little wrench light popped on. After getting it tested, they're saying a wire has to be tracked down in the transmission. They want to charge me $150/hour for 2 hours of labor, on top of the testing fee, for something me and my mechanic think they already know. Then they said it might take longer than that to find it, they're just asking for 2 hours. My mechanic isn't an electrical person and I don't want to be scammed, has anyone has this issue before and can shed some light?
