The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fusion hybrid. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15V246000(latches/locks/linkages). The parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called a local dealer (sellers-sexton Ford Lincoln Mazda located on 341 vfw memorial dr, St robert, mo 65584) who stated that the recall remedy parts were on backorder. The manufacturer was notified. The VIN was unknown. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
