Had a PCM recall update done on 3/6/2024, 23E09.

A month later I lost power. Gas pedal had no response. Luckily I was in light traffic and was able to pull over to side of road. After about 10 minutes I was able to restart car and all was normal except for check engine light. It happened a second time a few weeks later.

Ford did issue a recall for this problem, 24S33. That seems to have corrected the problem.

This could have been very dangerous if I was doing 65 on the highway in heavy traffic.
