When pulling emergency parking brake up it failed to hold the vehicle in place. Contacted dealer and dealer could not fix parking brake. Consumer had problems with air flow unit and sensor.

When hooking the air control module sensors, the rpms raced high. Consumer had to deactivate sensor. The vehicle did not have enough power to drive, because the sensor was not hooked up. Contacted dealer, and dealer stated the airflow unit had gone bad. Consumer wrote this is very dangerous because vehicle would jump to 3800 RPM's which could cause the engine to blow.

When plugging in air flow sensor unit vehicle will rev up to about 3000 rpms. Dealer was not willing to do anything.

Oxygen sensor has been replaced twice. When this happens driver loses power and gas meilage.

Head gasket failure, timing cover gasket needs repair as well as 02 sensors due to engine leaking coolant, needs new water pump. Ford says this could not have been prevented because "the head gaskets simply wear out over time." No satisfaction from Ford national or local dealerships. Repair costs estimated at approx $3,000 from local Ford dealership.
