Well, as much as i love Mustangs, specially those 8 cyl, i really thought that'd be all i needed...mistake, as i was driving around, i started smelling a somehow sweet odor in the car when i turned the AC on..this was minimum, barely noticeable and i thought it came from the outside. Then as the weeks passed by, the smell grew stronger but never gave it much of a thought. It wasn't until i felt some water drops on my shoes and in the winter of that year that my windshield was fogged to the point that i couldn't see when i turned the heater on, that i started to worry. Googleing it, found it apparently was a common problem with mustangs, the "heater core" was probably the cause of the leak. So i went to an AC shop (because the all warranty has expired by then) to see how much would it cost to repair it..it was around 3k because they'd have to remove the dashboard..and even then, it wouldn't guarantee it'd get fixed. Too risky and expensive for me, so i went to Autozone, bought a bottle of AC core fix-a-leak type of liquid, drained my radiator and engine, washed it, drained again and put in the contents of the bottle. It worked for a while, but now I'm smelling "roses" again....Ford doesn't ever get it right.
