Mustang Deluxe Convertible 3.9L V6

  • Manual transmission
  • 68,351 miles

Cast iron stock exhaust headers for V6 engine has common hairline cracking issue that gets worse without fixing. Dealer quoted around $1000 for welding shut the cracks, suggested alternative is to replace them with something nicer.

Started noticing around the 110,000km mark in 2015.

Affects fuel economy significant and also will end up destroying your catalytic converter if not fixed. Makes it sound nice and throaty on the plus side!
