Since this is not a wear part the manufacturer should be responsible for fixing the issue at no cost. Their lack of research or engineering resulted in this problem. I'm sure there are adhesives available that would have made this problem non-existent.
Shame on you ford.....

It has fallen off on driver side, I stuck it back, but I think the heat down here has made it fal again, the fix may work better in cooler climate, not sure. It's starting to bubble out on passenger side too, so it wont be long until it falls. use headliner adhesive to reattach...works temporarily

door trim on both doors is coming unglued, dealership unable to repair except with new parts at cost of over $700 per door, no guarantee will not happen again. after market will not help, report no solution to problem, not one of ford's better ideas.

The leather upholstery on both doors fell off on the same day. It seems as though the foam backing has deteriorated. It looks awful, and is a pain in the ass to keep it from getting caught in the door. It seems as though things are failing now that it's out of warranty. Argh!

The leather upholstery on both doors fell off on the same day. Same thing as my other complaint, but I'm reporting it twice since it happened to both doors. Seems as though the foam backing has deteriorated. It looks awful!

At first the leather on the door panels just loosened up, I am not really sure when this began. Just recently the driver's side leather has separated from the door panel and is hanging down. It looks terrible, I spoke to the dealer about it who said well its past the warranty coverage so they will not cover it. I told them this car has 33000 miles on it - it is defective workmanship. I have had 30+ year old cars with better interior than this POS! Although I really like driving this car, I am no fan of Ford's workmanship or customer care. If they know they have problems, they need to be repairing them!
