Takata recall. The contact owns a 2005 Ford Mustang. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16V384000 (air bags); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. Interstate Ford (125 alexandersville rd, miamisburg, oh) was contacted and confirmed that the parts were not available for the recall remedy. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue and was not able to confirm when the parts were to become available. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

2005 Ford Mustang with vehicle safety standard problems. Consumer states that he received a letter to have the restraint control module reprogrammed free of charge. His vehicle is in the netherlands is there a way to get it fixed free of charge.
