When it rains my car is leaking water behind the glove box. Considering the fact that my car had very low mileage when purchased I do not feel that I should have to pay to have this issue fixed.they even did a car fax and it showed no problem but according to doing some research this seems to be a common problem as well as with the shaker 500 my C.D. player stopped working I would love to have these repairs fixed and not out of my pocket.thank you [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6).

My 2007 Ford Mustang has had a water leak under the passenger side area that has and is still causing electrical shortage in the car. Everytime it rains water gets into the vehicle and causes major damage. Ford dealership will not repair it under warranty and my out of pocket expenses to fix this problem would be enormous. This water leak is a tsb on Ford's site which means they know something is wrong with the 05-09 models. My car is now out of commision and will not start. I have replaced two batteries over the last year because of the water leak causing shortages in my car. This car is now a lemon beccause of the severe water damage Ford has caused my vehicle to receive. I have a vehicle that will not start and Ford will not repair without payment. I am sending this complaint so that a recall can be issused so I can repair my car. Ford knows there is a major problem and has done nothing about this. This is a $35,000 vehicle and only 5 years old and the engine won't even start. This issue is a major electrical hazard and is a danger to myself and my children.

My 2007 Ford Mustang has leaked from underneath the passenger side glovebox since I bought it from carmax in 2008. I took it back but leaks were not covered under warrany. Did not realize this was a common issue. Now my computer sensors have water damage issues I believe and it is causing me to fail emissions.

My 2007 Ford Mustang started to leak last year 2011 every time it rains, water pours from under the glove box. You can be driving or in park and the water just continually runs. Now my Mustang has had electrical issues and reaks of mold and the car is now completely ruined because of this leak. Ford will not recognize this as a recall so we are forced to pay because it is not under warranty any longer. This car is now a lemon because Ford did not build this car correctly. This car is not even paid off yet and is now considered junk. Ford will not help us get what we are paying for I did not buy a new car to have it ruined within four years because it was not built correctly.

2007 Ford Mustang V6 has water leaking from underneath passenger dash. After inspection water was seen dripping rapidly from climate control fan box onto exposed electrical wire connections. Only happens when it rains and water can be heard splashing within fan box when driving. Ford issued a tsb but water dripping on exposed electric can cause risk of short and fire.

Paint is peeling off the hood of my 2007 Ford Mustang. I noticed the 06-07 Mustangs have a similar problem and was told by the dealer it is because they have an aluminum hood. These cars should be recalled, and the hood should be painted for free because paint should last longer than three years.

Water leak on passenger side under dash, soaking carpet, 1st incident but after investigating further I am not the only one, could lead to electrical failure. Why isn't it required to supply the purchaser of vehicle any tsb that has been issued for said vehicle. I could have possibly prevented this if I had been made aware of the potential problem. The release of any tsb should be mandatory!!!!

Many Ford Mustangs 2005-2009 are experiencing water leaks. The water drains from the bottom of the passenger side dashboard onto the passenger's feet. During rain storms, the water saturates the rug area unless you have a towel. Under the dashboard, wet wires can be seen. For some reason, Ford will not issue a recall even though there is a 2006 tsb on this very issue. To stop the "flood", consumers are forced to pay for the repairs out of their own pocket. Please search the internet to read all the complaints. The few Mustangs owners who do not experience this problem tend to garage the cars and only drive them in nice weather. Please hold Ford accountable for this obvious manufacturing defect by forcing a recall and 100% reimbursement for those who already paid to fix the problem. Thank you.
