we bought this car a month ago. in that time we have had it back at the dealership 5 times for various reasons, each time the dealers basically telling me i am a dumb woman. well the day we bought it, we couldn't take it home that night because the battery was dead. so they "put a new one in" and we picked it up the next day. it has been really sluggish to start from the first time i started it. they told me it was normal. I "just wasn't used to the way true American muscle sounded". So ok, it did start so i left, but i made sure to mention the way it was starting each time i took it back for other things. again they told me all was well.
so last night i go to start it, and nothing, well not quite nothing, it did click.... so i call the dealership, and they are closed, at 6:00 pm on a saturday... ok they need time off too. when i got up this morning, i call the number i have for the "go to guy" they keep sending me to, and he says that he needs to talk to his manager, and will call me back.
so i go out and jump start it, and my neighbor yells from across the street, "you guys know your car lights blink all night right?" um... nope, we answered. so he tells us that 1,2,3, in the morning, when ever there is movement around the car they blink like crazy, but the horn doesn't honk, just the lights... so... i call they guy back, and tell him what the neighbor said, he tells me "maybe someone is trying to break into the car and it just isn't setting the alarm off fully" .....are you kidding me? the neighbor would have said that, but no he said when a car goes by the lights go on, when a cat walks past the lights go on... nothing about some random dude trying to steal my car... I live on a military post, we watch out for each other... anyway... the guy is supposed to call me back.
I have checked out other sites, and have discovered many people are having the same issues with the electrical that I am having. I bought the car used, but it did come with the factory warranty and I bought an additional one as well.. so hopefully all this crap is going to be covered.
This is my dream car, and to finally get it, and have all these problems is awful!

well i posted earlier with an electrical problem, it turns out i was only part right...
the service people said it was a bad starter and it was causing a short, making the lights blink and the battery go dead. hmmm.... anyway, its starting fine now, and
we'll see how the battery holds up.
